From the same idea and wish to be together, The Diner place its roots in Florence, proposing as a space for families and friends.

Based in Florence from 2004, The Diner is the first American style diner in Florence.
Our rich menu, which we serve all day long, includes a wide range of pancakes, muffins, bagels, eggs benedict, omelets, juicy hamburgers, jacket potatoes, authentic hashbrowns, and thick and creamy milkshakes.
A selection of soups and salads is also available for those who favour a vegan or vegetarian entrée option.
Who we are
Martha and Stefano, not two simple restaurant partners, but a family.
They met three years ago at ‘bar dell’angolo’, in the square della calza, managed by Stefano.
In May 2016 they had the opportunity to take the restaurant, making it a symbol of Martha’s culinary culture (she’s American) and Stefano’s great passion, alimented and improved by their travels in America, searching new tastes and inspirations.
